Canvas and Frames

Art by numbers kits are supplied with digitally-printed canvas. The gift size is supplied already framed. The gallery size is supplied with a wooden frame (stretcher) and you will need a staple gun to make it up – we can sell these on request, though you might find it easier and cheaper to buy from a DIY store or from amazon.co.uk. Making up a frame is easy - if you can wrap a present you'll be able to do it. Each kit comes with a full set of instructions to guide you through the process. You must frame the canvas before you start painting.

Paints and Health and Safety

Colours vary with different computers and different printers, but do provide a roughly accurate guide to colours. These paints are good quality student/artist acrylic paints, they are fast drying and water based. Paint may stain clothes and upholstery, so protect them. Avoid contact with skin and eyes –rinse paint out with water or wash with soap and water. Some of the paints are made-up of more than one colour - it is very important to mix the paints well before you begin. In accordance with EC labelling regulations all colours are classified as non-dangerous for use but they are not intended for use by children and must be kept out of their reach.

Instructions

The instructions will give you a guide to colours and the box packaging shows how the finished painting will look. Following the numbers system accurately means you will get guaranteed results. It is very important to mix the paints well before you begin.

No contract shall exist between you and art by numbers until Art By Numbers has sent you an email confirming receipt and acceptance of your order.

Delivery Information and Order Tracking

We send our kits with the Royal Mail or Parcel2go.com, they are sent either first class, special delivery or courier depending on size. We aim to process your order within three working day. Gallery size postage is £7 and Gift size postage is £5.

These delivery estimates represent our aimed for service. Circumstances beyond our control may affect them and do not constitute a breach of contract by Art By Numbers. In the event of any known about delays, we will contact you by email.

Orders from Outside Mainland Britain

We welcome all orders from overseas. Please contact us so that we can custom calculate your shipping costs and any applicable taxes. Please also read our terms and conditions regarding UK law.

When ordering goods from Art By Numbers for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Art By Numbers, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. As your privacy is important we would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Money Back Guarantee and Returns Policy

If any part of your Art By Numbers painting set is damaged we will replace it free of charge, reimbursing postage if we have requested its return. Please let us know if you have damaged goods within 7 days of receiving your art kit.

We want you to be happy with your purchase, so if you are unhappy with any aspect of your painting set and believe we can do something to put it right, please contact us - we'll do our best to sort out whatever we can.

If you are simply not satisfied with your Art By Numbers art kit, you can still return it, in unused condition with internal packaging intact, within 7 days for a full refund: no questions asked. In this case return postage costs are not reimbursed. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.
